When I grow up..........I'm gonna be a gymnast, no a dancer, no a doctor.....hmmm

I don't know about life at other people's houses - but at our house it seems swimsuits and picture taking opps are an every day occurance. Rain or shine - warm or cold - Riley is going to end up in a sleeveless dress a leotard or a swimsuit sometimes even complemented with snowboots.
Here are some shots the other day - she was of course dancing..........or maybe she was a ballerina - but really she was probably both.
One of her "tricks" as she likes to call them, standing on one foot (and check out the farmers tan from Disney we'll definitely have to work on her t-shirt and short line come summer - ok totally kidding on that because she's well 3 years old).

Now I actually think she's a tiger ready to pounce on whatever I was making for dinner - it must have been good :)
Ta-da - man she's good and to think she's had no professional training because of course she's not old enough for our local gymnastics class yet :(
And a big roll to finish it off - have a great day everyone!

Disney's Blizzard Beach

So with our Disney tickets we got "one day of fun" and decided to use it at one of the water parks, Blizzard Beach. We thought we'd spend an hour or so there and Riley would be done, because while she LOVES water and swimming, she hates to get it in her face. We were totally blown away by how much she loved that place - we spent probably 3 hrs there and could have easily spent at entire day and no one would have ever gotten bored.
This sign did seriously disturb us - do they really need to tell people if they have diarrhea not to go to a water park?
We stayed in the kiddie area, Tikes Peak, pretty much the whole time. Riley absolutely loved everything about it!

I never could get her looking at the camera when she was coming down a slide, too worried about the whole water in her face thing - she never fussed though if it did get in her face which is definitely a first.

Riley and daddy cooling off in the water fall - who knew it would be so hot in the beginning of March.

And the Couch Won the Battle

Happy Saturday - boy my Mommy and Daddy sure are happy the weekend is here, and I'm happy there might be some snow even though Mommy and Daddy tell me I probably won't be able to play in it. Oh well, maybe it will be pretty to look at at least.
As you can tell, I'm totally fine, but I crashed with the baby sitter's couch on Thursday when my mom came to pick me up - I cried a bit and they thought I might get a black eye, but I didn't.
Just a great battle wound to add to my list. Now I know couches are definitely harder than my face, especially when running at full speed.

FFF - My Swimming Girl

Happy Friday everyone, I'm not sure if there is a FFF theme this week or not, but I decided I'm making up my own. I have a lot of Disney pics to get posted so I thought today I'd get a little more of that done. Be sure and check out the other FFF posts over at Sarah's blog!
One of the things Riley was really looking forward to (well besides the Princesses, the Dumbo ride and the Teacups) was the pool - my girl LOVES to swim - I bet there wasn't a day that went by that she didn't spend at least 2 hours in the water and I'm really not exaggerating at all. Oh yeah and the pool at our hotel was AMAZING!!! It had a huge waterfall thing coming in to it - the mask totem pole looking guys spitting water into the pool, a water slide, a kiddie pool that squirted water up, a playground........we could have spent the entire day here and been fine because yeah there was even a little place to get food too. My very favorite thing though - they provided life jackets so we didn't have to haul ours from MO to FL, they think of everything!

She made a great swimming buddy while we were there - her name was Tiffany and she was 5 and they were great playmates. My favorite was just after we had met her (seriously like 3 minutes into their first playtime) as we were walking to the bathroom Riley says "I really like her, I'm going to invite her to my next birthday......when we get back, I'll ask her her name" I love it - kids are so eager and willing to make friends and it really helps us parents out when we are the playmates for 7 days. There's something about another person their size that satisfies when mommy and daddy become boring. We were thankful that Tiffany was there most of our stay because after she left, the pool just wasn't quite as fun. Riley couldn't find another playmate quite like Tiffany, but she tried, once even saying "Momma, I wanna go over there and pick out a kid."
Me. Riley, Joey, Tiffany and her Mom - thanks lifeguard guy for taking our picture!

Daddy's Disney World Hula Hoop Moves

You know - Disney really is a great price - besides the fact that food and everything else costs a fortune, you really don't have to pay for anything once you get in the parks. There were so many times that there were just "cast members" as employees are called hanging out in an area with hula hoops or a huge jump rope or something else entertaining and it was so fun for the kids and adults alike. This was Riley's first time really trying a hula hoop I think and then Daddy showed us some of his moves too - hehehe - he'll love me for posting these I know :

We are happy to announce we are having a............

Sweet profile of Baby Graves
A little foot - the only one he could get since baby was moving so quick

Baby Graves singing us a song - if you tilt your head to the left you can see the two eyes and the wide open mouth - I hate to say it but ultrasounds always look a little alien-like to me

Wasn't that a mean teaser of a title - well we are so excited to tell everyone we are having a baby GIRL. Everything looked great on the ultrasound, she was happy (even singing us a song at one point - or that's what I'm saying she was doing since her mouth was wide open) and measuring right on track. I didn't get to count her 10 tiny fingers and toes because she wouldn't hold still long enough (I've never seen a baby move around so much during an ultrasound) but I'm trusting they are all there.

A few Disney pics

These are pics the nice people at Disney took for us - really gets me wanting to download ours tonight, hopefully I'll have time after church!!!
One of the brief moments we made Riley wear her sling - in front of Epcot before our breakfast with Mickey and Minnie and Donald and Goofy (and the dreaded Pluto that we won't mention) the day after we got to Disney World.

The whole fam at Magic Kingdom in front of the castle.

and again in front of the castle.

In front of the castle again - but if you look close, Riley is holding Tinkerbell this time
Smooches for Riley at the front of the Magic Kingdom near the rail road.

She loved Daisy!!!

The little effects they would do were kinda neat - I can't wait for Riley to see this one since she wasn't sure which animal baby she would be holding!

Awe Belle, Riley's favorite princess on this trip, and her favorite show while we were there too!

In front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom - and boy do we look like we've had a day of it (which we had since this was just before dark!). You can't see the baby bump very good here but let me assure you it's definitely there (in fact I think I had about 20 people ask if I was having twins on the trip and I wasn't always sure how to respond - I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow though!!)
