Super Easy Supper - Yummmm

We had this recipe a few weeks ago at a friend's house - while it may be more suited for a snacky get together, I thought it made a great (quick) supper tonight!! Thanks for sharing Karon!Karon's Taco Ring (now she's famous, because I named it after her)

2 cans crescent rolls
1 lb - ground beef
1 pkg - taco seasoning
1 cup cheese
Cook ground beef as usual, drain, add taco seasoning and a couple of tablespoons of water. Mix in cheese and stir until kind of melty.
Layer crescent rolls in a circle with that flat edges slightly overlapping in the center. Spoon meat mixture around ring and fold over small ends.
Bake at 375 for around 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
I halfed the recipe for our family - which I know if you know Joey that's a surprise that I cut any recipe in half, but it really is filling - and yummy. Hope you enjoy!

I haven't tried these........but they sound interesting

It seems that whenever I decide to make tacos, chili or something that I typically use Onion Soup Mix for.........I'm out of the seasoning packets. Yes I've tried my hand at winging it but my limited assortment of spices just never quite tastes the same for taco or chili seasoning. Now onion soup mix I can come close, but I love the convenience of just dumping a packet in when I'm making roast. So I found these recipes, I haven't tried them yet, but they look promising. It would be great to make up a batch and have them on hand rather than buying packets. Bonus - I have most of these ingredients on hand (except for Minced Garlic, Marjoram and Cumin)
